Artificial Reef & Coral Restoration

Coral reefs around the world are in danger from local and global stressors.  It is vital we preserve marine resources and local economies before it is too late. Here we have adopted passive and active restoration methods to preserve what we have left and restore what has been destroyed.

Ocean Stewardship Programme

I teach a coral reef ecology programme and train volunteers on key scientific survey techniques to assess the health of coral reefs, seagrasses and mangroves in Cambodia's first Marine Fisheries Management Area (MFMA).

Reef Surveys

We utilise standard survey techniques and collect data in partnership with other organisations to provide reliable long-term information on the health of coral reefs within the Koh Rong Archipelago. All biophysical data is passed onto the Cambodian Fisheries Administration in order to assess the success of the region's first marine protected area.

Beach Clean

Plastic pollution is something we can no longer escape, our 'throw away' culture needs to change. I want a future with more fish than plastic in our oceans. I conduct regular beach cleans with the local communities to provide a safe and clean environment for everyone to enjoy.
